Bathroom Makeover

Ever since I moved into my home 5 1/2 years ago, I have always felt the guest bath needed a totally makeover! I finally convinced my hubs that the bathroom vanity was soo ugly and it needed to go. I wanted to put a statement sink in that hung on the wall like the old days. Boy was it a project! My contractor had to go into the wall to secure the weight but in the end I LOVE IT! Now I just need to redo the floors and install a more┬ámodern shower and the bathroom will be complete. Here is what I have done so far…

WOOD INSTALLED TO HOLD WEIGHT OF THE SINK.

WALL HANGING SINK! I ADDED NEW LIGHTING AND PAINTED THE MIRROR BLUE FOR AN ACCENT COLOR.

THESE ARE EXTRA WOOD PIECES THAT WERE GOING TO BE THROWN AWAY, SO I SALVAGED THEM, PAINTED THEM AND HUNG THEM TO ADD SOME TEXTURE AND INTEREST TO THE WALL.

I FOUND THIS CUTE SELF AT HOMGOODS AND KNEW IT WOULD BE PERFECT FOR LITTLE THINGS TO BE STORED BEING THAT I DON’T HAVE A VANITY. IT GOES WITH THE FARMHOUSE THEME I WANTED FOR THE BATHROOM.
