Milk Jar Cookie Mix

I am throwing my daughter, Eden, a Frozen birthday party in December and it takes months to prepare. I will be showing all the DIY crafts and recipes I will be making for the party.

I wanted to do a take home gift that would work with the dessert table theme. So I found these adorable milk bottles at Michael’s craft store and I adjusted my cookie jar recipe to fit the small sized jars. I’m just tired of the same old mason jars and thought this was just an over-all cuter presentation. I made the labels myself with Avery labels that you can purchase at Staples and I designed them on their website. I included the recipe below.

Layer ingredients in this order

1/2 cup of flour

4 tbsp brown sugar

2 tbsp white sugar

3 tbsp oats

2 tbsp white chocolate chips

2 tbsp blue M@M’s

Attach a label that says:

Makes 8 cookies.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine 4 tbsp butter melted, 1 egg and 1/2 tsp vanilla.

Combine wet and dry ingredients and form 8 mini balls and place on cookie sheet.

Bake 4-6 minutes or until golden. Cookies are chewy.
