Apple Crisp in a Jar

Tonight I has some guest over for a holiday dinner. My son begged me to make an apple crisp. I decided to use these small jars I had used for my daughters birthday party years back and bake the crisp inside of them. Boy were they a hit! Give this easy recipe a try!

Ingredients

10 small jars

2 21 ounce can of apple pie filling

1/2 cup flour

1/4 cup of brown sugar

1/2 cup butter cut into chunks

1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Chop apple pie filling into smaller bites and scoop into jars about half way.

In a small bowl, mix the rest of ingredients by using your fingers until crumbly and sprinkle on top of apple pie filling to almost the top.

Bake, uncovered, for about 45 minutes until top is nicely browned but NOT BURNED!

Serve warm and with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
